Flat Tuesday

One
flat tire in the rain
with a spare that refuses release
by my hand or tow truck driver's might,
Equals a late dinner
and grumpier face than the one that looked out
on the wet and rainy day that was Tuesday.
Subsequently, means a change in plans
to another wet and rainy day
called Wednesday.
Lame month
So far.

spread your wings award
A lovely thing from Jingle, that I offer you to share.

  3. Does your pity party serve drinks? I am there.

Thanks Brian. I did get to see some old acquaintances (tow company I used to deal with at my old workplace), so that is so much. Plus a cabbie tried to assist me, so I was shown the kindness of strangers. And yes, tomorrow is a new day...

  4. Hello,
Nice to see you in my place.
Glad that you take one award.
How sad that you got flat tire during a rainy day...it will pass, count your blessings by thinking of your good health, your lovely kids, and friends who truly care about you.

  5. a factual poem
    written with emotions and hope,
    beautiful shape.
    hang in there.
I used to have flat tire too,
I have towing service included in car insurance, thus call from the card and the locale tow truck comes...free of charge.

When you drive an older car, make sure you have your cell phone and yellow book handy.
    Good Luck!
I will have you in my thoughts.

  6. Aw Jingle thanks. Not sure why the tire went flat, but I have many friends in the industry. My white night was there pretty quick (two actually). I am just hoping that all will be right with the world again tomorrow. The kids thought it was fun to ride in the tow truck too, so bonus for them ;) And I do have a cell phone. I got it shortly after my husband died, for just such a reason. Thanks

  7. peace and love with you,
sorry that your husband is gone.

is that very hard for you to raise two kids alone? I know how u feel, my hubby is out of town for two weeks now, me and my two boys at home...it is a different feeling...

    Home at last,
please rest well and eat well,
    have a good night sleep.
tomorrow no car, you may ask friends for rides, or call a taxi, it shall be fixed within one day since the problem is flat tire...
I appreciate your comments and treasure your kindness.
