  4. Having been raised in the midwest of the United States where winters are bitter cold, I can sure relate! This is also why I now live in Texas! :-)

  5. @JTS: Oh, plus the winchill brings it down to -20C which is extra specail nice. You are smart to have moved to Texas!

  6. And the PERFECT six words for this six word Saturday!

OMG, it's sooooooo good here too, Katherine. And like the winter loving idiot that I am, I took a day-trip out the suburbs of Philly, and walked around for three hours OUTSIDE in the COLD! When I took my gloves off to take a picture with my camera, my fingers got frostbite!

Time for a nice, long HOT bath!

    HA!

  7. You are a crazy man my friend, but I am sure you had a wonderful morning. I do enjoy me a walk in the woods on a lovely winter day, but when they are calling for wind chills that will freeze off external body parts in a short time period; that is not my idea of a good time. I toast you with a nice warm hot toddy my Ronnie! Cheers to you Mr. Winter!!!

  8. Hello fellow Canadian. Here in Calgary -- we're actually getting above 0 temps -- finally! Alas, it means no backcountry skiing as the avalanche risk is way too high!

But, in the city, all is well.

    nice to meet you!

I followed you here form Six Words...

  10. Brrr is right! On the up side, we have sunshine so I'm happy about the trade-off. :)

  11. Brrrrrrrrr....makes me really appreciate the weather systems that protect our little island from the real winter out there...I've managed to keep doing my daily swim in the sea right through; a tad chilly at times but nothing like what y'all are dealing with!!

  12. @Possum: No seas anywhere near me, and most of the water systems nearby are either frozen or would induce hypothermia pretty darn quick. They do polar bear swims at various places in Canada on New Year's day, but that isn't MY cup of tea! Enjoy your swim and thanks for popping by Possum

  13. For me, there comes a point where it's just too cold and I don't even care about the numbers anymore. I'm tired of feeling chilled even though it's nowhere near as cold here as where you are.

Stay warm and thanks for playing 6WS!
