Back from holidays
Phew!
I love visiting with friends & family,
but get me my coffee,
my vacuum
and lets suck the last of the life
out of Christmas
for another year
That is my 160
for Monkey Man
to say goodbye to 2010
and the holidays.
I am hoping to get back into
some kind of routine again tomorrow.
Welcome back! Missed you. :)
ReplyDeleteThank you sweet lady! I took my laptop a'wandering with me, but did not open it til this morning and only then to get an opinion on the poetry chapbook that is just about done. I got surprised looks from all that I was able to cut the cord, but I have survived. Happy New Year!
ReplyDeleteA Happy New Year to you! Thanks for playing along with the Sunday 160 as your first post back from the Holidays.

ReplyDeleteWelcome home!
OMG, I so know what you mean about getting back to a routine. After this holiday season in retail (working 24/7), I've so enjoyed getting back to my normal routine. I can finally breathe!
Aaahhhh!
Happy New Year, dear lady!
Cheers!

ReplyDelete@Talon: Yup, I was successful too! The tree is gone from the house and the ornaments have been packed away for another year. Glad to be back Talon!
@Brian: I hope that you find what you are looking for this week Brian. May your thoughts and your muse be full of the new life of the new year.
ReplyDeleteHugs friend!
@Neva: The holidays are great, but sometimes a little routine is a GOOD thing!
ReplyDelete@Ron: I am so glad to hear that you survived the holidays Ron. Pretty far from a holiday for you I bet! Poor boy!! :( Anyway, back to routines certainly has its perks.
hugs!
@Emily: I have seen posts for imperfect prose, but haven't ever joined in. Perhaps I will have to give it a look see...
