Sulky sunshine threatens fun in park.
I am playing along at
Six Word Saturday again. Sigh, another day of gray clouds, when all we want is a few rays of Mr.Sun to add fun to our day. The
Gathering on the Green is today in Wortley Village. We have been the last few years and the girls love it, to say nothing of Mommy's excitement at getting out of the house. It is a free event that has face painting and creative activities for the children, as well as artisans, a plant sale by the local horticultural society, a silent auction, live music and food. Yippee! We are going regardless and just going to hold our breath that rain clouds do not spoil our fun. Have a great Saturday!
Sounds like a fun day! Hope the rain doesn't ruin it! :)

It worked! All you beautiful people brought us a day of partly cloudy, but definitely not rainy weather. It was a great day!
ReplyDelete*thanks for popping by Melissa. It was fun!
*faerwillow the weather was just perfect. Not rainy, although it is threatening now, and not too hot to bake noggins. Thanks for admiring my floral display!
*Ron, I love your Philly sunshine! Send it our way any time!
*thanks Jingle
*Jannie you are right. Getting out of the house was just what we all needed. We bumped into many friends and enjoyed a day of horse-drawn wagon rides, face painting, admiring artisans and living! Beauty!
*Brian, I am SO glad that the rain has decided to wait. We should get torrential downpours tonight, but we giggled and bounced all day today!
*Thanks for the help Nora. You worked magic! Yippee! I will visit you in a few.
*Oh, I hope that you had the luck that we did Olivia. Soggy birthdays are just not as much fun.
*agreed Ron and our sun dances worked. The kids pounded out a rhythm last night to bring on sun today. I like your 6!
