It is late, but night-time holds the only hours left.
These days are suddenly filled to overflowing.
My hours, requested hither & yon,
fly from me. I offer willingly
knowing that the bills
will now get paid
and I might get
that fresh
haircut
yet.
Work sometimes demands much, and we can feel pulled in all directions, to the limit, but we can but hope the aftermath is worth it, the money for the bills, and a touch of living too...Nice little slice of life piece.
@Brian: Thank you for that Brian. I am very aware that life could possibly get away from me, but I think just in the knowing that I will work harder to make that NOT happen. I think I am ready to take on more of life and made up a schedule that slots in work, but also life. Time to embrace!
@cianphelan: Hi Cianphelan. Reintroducing work into my world has been a slow process. Over the last year, it has been filtering in through the rest of life. The balance is the key though isn't it.
@Ron: While it is great to get more work & hence $$ flowing, I have to look at when I can now get that much needed trim. I am overdo though! Need to put some polish on my new working girl veneer. :)
