The Stories & Poetry of a Woman Writing
Another beautifully expressed poem, Katherine!Peace to you, my friend.XP.S. For some reason, when I clicked on the video it said uploader has not made this video available in your country.
short and powerful
wonderful imagery...and I too cannot open the video...
@Ron: I reloaded it. Not sure if that will help. It is a video by Nickleback. I heard the song this morning on the radio and the words resonated with me today.
@Cathy: That's all the words there are today
@Kathe W.: I am not sure if the video will open now or if it is limited viewing in the US due to Canadian content. Thanks for trying anyway.
glad you got your reminder..now dry those eyes, you are not alone...smiles.
((((Brian))))thanks brian
I hope the skies clear soon for you, Katherine. I love how a song will speak to us and help us to release...
the sky was crying here too, today, friend. i loved this poem... thank you.
@Talon: There is sunshine in the forecast Talon. I could use a little bit of vitamin D to bolster my soggy spirits.
@Emily: Thank you visiting and hosting a beautiful gathering Emily.
That's a lot of power in just a few short lines.
@Shanae: Haiku is a pretty powerful form. Thank you Shanae.
sky refuses to stop crying...wow, such a potent image. I like it a lot.
Awww... I went to youtube and watched the video, and now I'm all teary eyed too. You, me and the sky, Katherine.
@Joybird: It seems like rain has been the dominant theme for April (when it didn't snow). Hard to shake those gray skies out of soul some days.
@Pattiken: Hugs to you too then Patti. The song was enough to make me pensive, but the video forced those tears that were threatening over the edge.
I love comments. Talk to me!
