The Sleep Over

Bath
free, fun
scrubbing, splashing, singing
wash off day's memories
Clean

Bed
close, secretive
reading, tickling, sharing
whisper in the dark
Sleep

Girls
exasperating, cute
playing, wiggling, giggling
never going to sleep

  3. Surprisingly by 10PM the house finally fell quiet. A few idle shout-outs from me was all that was needed to convince long-time best buds to close sleepy eyes. I felt sorry for my youngest, as she listened from her room while her sister and her friend giggled into the night.

    Sleep tight ladies!
and sleep tight to you my lovely blog friends...

  4. Awww! This brought back so many wonderful memories - of sleepovers I attended as a youngster and the ones I managed to somehow survive with my three kids (a daughter, 2 sons). Oh, and boy sleepovers are waaaay noisier! lol!

  6. I don't doubt it Talon! They were pretty good all things considered and hopefully a memory or two for the girls to cherish.

  8. That is too cute...some day your youngest and mine can giggle together too with their big sisters! Reminds me of MANY giggling nights with my twin. Sigh! To go back in time!
