Sometimes quiet days are best...no rushing here or there, free to follow any whim - even if that whim is to just hang with your girls on the couch and watch a movie!
Enjoy your quiet day... xo
PS - yay for us...we did such a good job ganging up on Brian, he accepted our awards! :D
Actually, I adore gray days. I much prefer them over sunny days (I know...that's weird). I think because I'm a highly energetic person, gray days calm me and seem to balance my energy system. My favorite thing to do on gray and rainy days is walk for hours in the quiet city. No one is on the streets, so I have it all to myself (or other people who enjoy gray days). Also, I love to watch an old black and white movie on TV when it's gray. Seems to add a "nice feel" to the movie.
Anyway, dear lady....I hope you're enjoying your day!
Thank you for posting this, it made me rememeber why I love gray days!
Being a California girl, I can't stand gray days. I love the sun!! Now, the only time I'll accept a gray day is when it's winter and close to the holidays. It just wouldn't be Thanksgiving or Christmas if it were sunny out. Trust me, I know. It takes away from the magic of the holiday.
I'm spending my weekend trying to get Tori Spelling's autograph and my hubby's birthday is tomorrow!
If you lived in Bend Oregon, there would be NO gray days or weekends with nothing to do! Almost too many activities to choose from! I actually love our occasional gray day - even better with a light rain. Enjoy your weekend.
Well folks, a'marketing we went, but my littlest one was way too grumpy for public consumption. We bought our corn and sausages for dinner and high-tailed it home. Nap time now, so a book might come out Deb. Thankfully the heat has depleted some (hope the same for your world too Ron! I know how much you hate the heat), but it is still plenty humid out. *Good luck with that autograph Kimmy. *There is usually plenty to do here as well Helen, but my energy level isn't fabulous today *Hopefully your heat will deplete too Nora. Coming to visit now!
We have PLENTY of sunshine here. IN fact, the heat index is well above 100 degrees. So our plans are to stay indoors. We watched a movie with the AC blowing cold air. LOL
