Signs of Spring and cool sunshine
Brought me outside
To turn the earth
and feel dirt
with fingers
Pale from winter's ways.
Insistent breezes
blew sweet remembrances
and promises of
a bountiful tomorrow.
DNA dug in.
Yesterdays rains,
Aided by a watering can's drops
Finished morning's work.
Hope lives
in tomorrow's turn.
loved this. beautiful pictures and beautiful words!
ReplyDeleteI figured it was time to call myself gardener again. I love being one with Mother Earth. It is a great renewal and meditation for me. I hope to inspire the kids to appreciate all we have too and so far, it's working :)
