ReplyDeleteIt sounds like an Army to me...
ReplyDeleteThe Poetry Invaders!
Loved your 55 Kat.
Thanks for playing, and have a Kick Ass Week-End
Perfect poetry form.. I enjoyed this. Hope you are having a good time from the reading and sharing ~
ReplyDeleteA poetry reading in London. That sounds lovely.
ReplyDeleteWow. You are quite the student of poetry. I am dumb as a rock when it comes to that. I just write.
ReplyDelete@Brian: I just attended. I could have shared a poem, but they only shared 2 poems in the workshop from members & 2 from the poets who were reading that night. Kind of glad, as the poets who shared their poems in our intimate workshop then went in front of the much larger group and read their poems to all. Not ready for that yet! Maybe next time! :)
ReplyDelete@G-Man: Not quite an army G! But maybe that would make the world a better place. hmm...
ReplyDelete@Heaven: Thank you. It was an interesting evening. I think I shall go back again.
@Margaret: London, Ontario that is. Sadly, a little more rare in these parts. It was lovely though!
ReplyDelete@Monkey Man: What! Lies, my friend. Thank goodness I have been to a poetry circle or two online to be able to sound like I halfway know what I am talking about though. Some of the poems were a little cryptic. Well, maybe a lot! But it was novel to discuss poetry in person & I just might go back. :)
Yep. That's the way of it.
ReplyDeleteThis is so true! I really like this.
ReplyDelete@Alice Audrey: You know it AA!
ReplyDelete@Mama Zen: Thanks MZ. I really love how poetry can connect us all. :)
It's lovely being a part of a community of poets and this is a lovely expression of that experience.
ReplyDeleteThis is lovely, Katherine.
ReplyDeleteI'd like to think a big slice of enjoying poetry is in the appreciation of the craft. Great form for a lovely poetry of yours. I'd like to invite you to My Journey at: www.nnalcot.blogspot.com
