Have I ever mentioned
that my favourite colour is red?
Yup, it catches my eye enough
to always turn my head.
Whether it be
mushrooms bright upon a tree
Or a dragonfly's gaze
staring back at me
When I feel the wind whistling by
I know fairy brushes are hanging to dry
in the forest glen on this warm day
as they've been busy painting my world so gay
nice...very cool dragonfly capture k...love me some nature...
ReplyDelete@Brian: Thanks Brian. I wanted to try and get a few more shots of him, but I only managed to get the one before he flew away. Sweet one though. :)
ReplyDeleteThis one nice/./ redness or blushing of nature :) liked the pic of flower such bright red uplifts the mood.
ReplyDelete@Divya: It does indeed. Are you talking about the red rose on the sidebar? I guess I have a dabbling of red everywhere, don't I. Thanks for stopping in Divya!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous! I love the red fall leaves! Last weekend I got some really great shots of a series of red barns.
ReplyDelete@Suzicate: Hi Susan! I haven't seen you in ages. Thank you for popping by today. I have to say that the autumn is one of my favourite times of year for all the brilliant colours. The contrast between a blue sky and bright orange tree just fills my soul up with love. I will be looking for those barn shots at your place now!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful post.
ReplyDeleteI like fall, and if it wasn't of Brian I would have never noticed the dragon fly, lol.
Anna :)
@LivingInAurora.ca: Hi Anna! I just wish I could have gotten a few more shots of it before it flew away. I felt pretty lucky to have seen it at all though & thought it looked stunning on those red leaves.
