I can faintly see shapes littering the path ahead of me.
Eyes seem to peer through the gloom watching my every step. Is it too late? Should
I turn back now?
Noo!
It is playtime at my house this morning, as I pen a Sunday 160 for Monkey Man. Go visit him and see what else is on offer this week. If you dare...
haha...there are days we are lucky to see the floor....
ReplyDeleteIt's a dangerous, fluffy world out there. Beware the plastic eyes. They're really nasty underfoot.
ReplyDelete@Brian: Today would appear to be one of them at my house Brian. It might take a week before all the stuffies get collected again. Of course yesterday they were all hanging in the crab apple in the front yard. Who knows where they may turn up tomorrow.
ReplyDelete@Alice: Indeed Alice. Blood-curdling screams have oft filled my realm, as tender tootsies meet up with randomly strewn friends. Creativity reigns here. :)
ReplyDeleteWhat memories this brings back. my kids had so many stuffed animals I used to drop them over the tops of their heads and exclaim "animalanche" over and over. Hmmm...might have another post in there somewhere. Thanks for playing along with the Sunday 160.
ReplyDeleteThe comments are almost as much fun as your 160. "Animalanche!", i love it. My little one sleeps with a large collection of stuffies.
ReplyDeleteAs for stepping on toys - I don't think there is *anything* worse than lego landminds. Ouch!
stay where you are.
ReplyDeletemy younger boy loves stuffed animals as well, we have two dozens of them.
Happy Grandparents Day.
Oh, I can hear the music. Beware.
ReplyDeleteYou need a Toy Corral
ReplyDelete@Monkey Man: Kids love their stuffed animals, don't they! I am sure you got some excellent shrieks with your "animalanche" game. Thanks for hosting MM!
ReplyDelete@Me: I stepped on a small plastic dinosaur yesterday & though I was going to twist my ankle. Lord but some of those toys HURT when underfoot! Legos would definitely be one of those nasty ones.
@Morning: Alas, the bathroom was down that dark hallway! I had to breach the stronghold for the sake of my weak-willed bladder. I regained the use of the top half of the house by nightfall though. All is well, for another day...
ReplyDelete@PattiKen: I bet you have stepped on more than one hidden nasty surprises in your day Patti. They won the war today. They just might win the battle too, but we shall have to see about that. :)
@G-Man: The photo only shows a small proportion fo them G! I swear they breed in the dark!!!! They are everywhere & take over the house when I least expect it. Thank God I have pretty good Mommy blinders, as most days I can just see right through it all. Have a super week! :0)
