Sunday Scrub

In with the new
Out with the old
Goodbye old desk
So long last week’s
Dirty bowls
& crunchy socks
With a
Sunday scrub
& valiant vacuum
the world is clean again
For a day
~

Despite my slothful start to the day
I did get a few things done today
including a late addition
Sunday 160

  1. Ah I know sloth..only too familiar with it of late..isnt it all about the emotional mess sepping outside..from the inside to the outside.

  2. I have to write mine on Saturday, but I steadfastly refuse to post until 12:01 AM Sunday. It is after all a SUNDAY 160. Thanks for playing along.

  7. @budh.aaah: Doesn't January just tax the mental reserves?! Oh, sometimes I think we were meant to hibernate all winter. Thanks for visiting!

@Monkey Man: I could/should write it up before, but by Saturday I am usually lacking in much productivity. I do try to write my African Adventure tale beforehand, so that I can post it early though. Thanks for being such a supportive host Monkey!

  8. @Jinksy: I was confused for a second until I read your second post. "Breakfast cereal", Haha! I suspect you are right there Jinksy! Ewww! Even Joanny agrees!

@Joanny: Well, I spent the morning trying to pick photos for a picture wall, then looked at the time in shock. I figured that I had to make up for the day somehow and I love when I can look around at a clean house. :) Always nice to see you Joanny!

  9. @Brian: Yeah, I hate when I find surprises like that. I threw out a bag of garbage of junk just scattered around the floor. I try to respect the kids and let them do what they want with their playroom, but when I cannot see the floor, my head spins! Hugs to you Brian and I wish you well this week too. Glad to see you in good spirits!
