Hello all. I am still couch bound, but wonderful friends & neighbours have been making sure that my children get fed and stimulated. I scrapped myself together enough to drag my butt to the dr this am, to find out that I have strep. Ugh. So that's why I haven't been able to move since Wed. How long will this take to recover from? Brian, Patti, Possum? Anyone know?
Well. let's face it. Some things are best left to the kids. And strep is one of them. We old folks over the age of 20 just don't seem to be able to cope with such things.
And on that note, I hope you had your kids checked for strep. I remember all too well that circle of infinity that moved in as we passed strep round and round and round and round...
@pattiKen: You know it Patti. But I was so tired from the drive that I didn't even ask her to check the kids too! Shit. She said they shouldn't get it, but I am thinking how can they not? We hug, I kiss them goodnight, and hello in the morning, plus when I pick them up & drop off at daycare. They are covered in my germs! ugh, please don't let this cycle continue...
And yes, I am feeling a bit better already this evening. I could not take another not in my foul sheets, so washed all my bedding. A herculean feat that I never would have accomplished yesterday. Heck, I couldn't even walk down a flight of stairs yesterday! You'd think that I would look super after all the sleep too, but I have some mighty fine looking luggage that I am toting around under my big brown eyes. Bring on the drugs! I am going back to bed!!!
was wondering where you were...hope you recover well...smiles.

P.S. Hope the antibiotic they are sure to have given you makes you feel better. By tomorrow would be my guess.
