To Uncle's House We Go

To Uncle’s house we go
O’er farmer’s field
past orchards cold
to forgotten arms we flow

Spoiled with treats
perhaps toys
&  gingerbread dreams
-best is kin that greets

    @Brian: We had a great afternoon. Uncle J always spoils the girls and Uncle D always spoils me with delicious feasts! He knows my seafood weakness, so happy valentine's day to me :)

    @Mama Zen: My girls got to make gingerbread houses, so were hopped up on icing, jelly beans and love from our friends.

    @Alice: They are super wonderful to visit, although we don't see them near as often as I'd like. I do have to admit though that they are not blood relatives, but kin of heart just the same. Happy Sunday!
