  2. Oh yes, lovely! I have a special fondness for hummingbirds - one once rested in my hands, believe it or not, before flying away into the night. What a beautiful haiku, and photo along with it. :)

  3. @Me: I kind of cheated, as he sat still for a second. Still a hard photo to get though.

  4. @thisgirlremembers: Wow! What an incredible experience! I recently saw a video of a family in Alaska that had a host of hummingbirds feeding out of their hands all summer. Not an easy task though. You are a lucky lady! Thanks for stopping by and offering stories & kindness.

  8. @Stranger: A pleasure to see one for an period of time, isn't it!

@Brian: That must have been cool Brian. They are amazing little birds.

@Quotes, Photos and a little Poetry: It is hard to capture birds! I have plenty of other fuzzy pictures of birds, as well as those pictures where the only evidence of the bird in the picture, is the one in your minds eye. Thanks for stopping by!

  9. OMG. You caught a hummingbird! Your words ring true here. I love when the hummingbirds visit the kangaroo paw plants outside my office. :)
