An Offering

You are not alone
- not walking with silent steps.
I hear and catch tears
falling behind those scarred hands,
then offer them to the rain
~

I am also going to link in a very late entry

  1. Very nice poem, I especially love tanka poems, with two hidden messages.

  2. @Christine: Thank you Christine. I am still wetting my feet on tankas, but am really enjoying what they can offer.

  6. Simply BEAUTIFUL, Katherine!

As I was reading this...."You are not alone- not walking with silent steps"....I immediately thought of the presence of angels!

Have a great day, my friend!

  7. @Kavita: We all need and ear & hand sometimes Kavita. I have been blessed with both at points in my life when I desperately needed them. I appreciate them myself, hence gladly give back when presented with the opportunity. The need is strong for one right now.

  8. @Ron: I guess sometimes we all get to play angels, whether we know it or not. I have had a few on my journey & bless their presence.
